Grace Lane (Bolender) Moberly was born 12/31/1930 in Matheson, CO to Eldwin F and Leelah Ervilla Seeley Bolender. She passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on 08/03/2024. She was surrounded by family.
She was preceded in death by Marvin K Moberly, her Husband of 68 years, parents Eldwin F and Leelah Seeley Bolender.
Survived by Richard E Moberly (Terri), Shirley D Johnson (Gordon), Barbara A Moberly. Grandchildren Ronald A Moberly, Robert D Moberly (Lori), Megan Ivie (Ken), Stephanie L Johnson, Allyson Glass (Nathan), 15 great Grandchildren. Multiple extended relatives and friends.
She played the piano for her Church starting at the age of 9. She worked at Prudential Insurance while Marvin went to School at CSBC. After Marvin finished Bible College, they traveled as song evangelists throughout the MidWest where she played the Piano, Organ and Accordion. She then supported Marvin's full time ministry as Pastor at Churches in Lewellen, NE, Plattsmouth, NE, Glenwood, IA, St Louis, MO, Alva, OK, Jonesboro, AR, & Lakin, KS. She taught Piano lessons, taught Sunday School, Led Bible School, drove a van to pick up unchurched children so they could go to Church and hear the gospel.
She mentored many young adults and teens throughout her years supporting Marvin in the MInistry. She later worked at Aetna Insurance in St. Louis. She enjoyed crocheting, going to Gospel Music Concerts. When they retired, they established a home in Bartlesville, OK, where she lived and worked along with Marvin at Voice of the Martys. She moved to Green Country Village Independent Living Apts. when she could no longer live alone, eventually moving to their Assisted Living Apts. She made many lifelong friends no matter where their ministry took them. She will be greatly missed by all.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that you please make a donation to the Journey Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
