Grace Maude Robinson

Grace Maude Banner Robinson, 92, of Zebulon, passed away peacefully at her home on January 20, 2026, to be with her Lord and Savior. Born on June 19, 1933, in Davenport, New York, she was the beloved daughter of the late Fletcher Banner and Christina Squaires Banner.

Grace lived a life marked by quiet joy, deep faith, and a love of learning. An avid reader, she devoted 18 years to working as a librarian and also spent time working in a bookstore. Her love of books extended into her home, where she carefully cultivated a personal library that brought her great pride. Grace also enjoyed puzzles, flowers, and gardening, and she found peace in feeding and watching the birds outside her home. She was content in living a simple and quiet life.

Above all else, Grace cherished her family. She especially loved gathering them together to share meals, creating moments filled with warmth, conversation, and love. Grace cared for her mother, Christina Banner, who lived to be 107 years old- something her family thought was incredibly honorable.

Grace is survived by her sons, Glenn Fletcher Robinson (Laverne), of Spartanburg, SC, Steven V. Robinson (Terri), of Raleigh, NC, Ricky Dean Robinson (Michelle), of Pilot, NC, Ronald Lane Robinson (Patricia), of Raleigh, NC, and Bryan Dale Robinson (Karen), of Wendell, NC. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Grace is preceded in death by her brother, Crawford Banner.
