After her retirement, she volunteered with the Red Cross Blood Mobile, the Saint Francis Hospital Cheer Cupboard, and Meals on Wheels. She thoroughly enjoyed her bridge games with the West Hartford Belles. She also found many friends walking at the mall and exercising at the Senior Centers.
