Grace Ellen Stephens, 88, of Greenville, SC, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, February 28, 2026.

Born in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Vardry and Jeanette Cobb Landreth.

Ms. Stephens was a member of Truth Missionary Baptist Church .

Grace was a remarkable woman who found joy in the simple pleasures. An amazing cook, she was known for her delectable meals that brought family and friends together around the table. Grace had a deep love for the beach, where she created cherished memories with her family, soaking up the sun and the joy of life.

Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith in the Lord inspired all who knew her. She was a beacon of wisdom, love, and strength, always encouraging those around her to share in the beauty of life.

She is survived by her sons, Rick Stephens (Susan), Rex Stephens (Bobette), and Eric Stephens (Karla); 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Norma Landreth, Nancy Shockley (Gene); brothers, Tony Landreth (Norma Jean) and Ralph Landreth.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Carvin Landreth, Claude Landreth, J.D. "Jake" Landreth, and Joe Landreth; and sister, Jan Cannon.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Truth Missionary Baptist Church with the funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be Graceland Cemetery West.

In addition to flowers, memorials may be made to Truth Missionary Baptist Church (Senior Citizens Ministry), 200 Saluda Dam Road, Greenville SC 29611.
