Mickey Bruce Foister

Mickey Bruce Foister, 81, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

A lifelong resident of the Upstate of South Carolina, Mickey was the proud owner and operator of Foister Electrical Contractor, Inc., faithfully serving the community for 54 years. Through his dedication, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence, he built not only a successful business but lasting relationships and a reputation for integrity throughout the Upstate. His hands wired countless homes and businesses, but more importantly, his life touched countless hearts.

Mickey proudly served his country in the National Guard for six years.

Mickey was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Wilda Vaughan Foister, whose partnership and love were the foundation of his life. He also leaves behind his daughter, Angie Foister Greer, and her husband, Kyle Greer.

He was a proud grandfather to Bryson and Emily Greer, Landon Greer, and Reagan Greer, and his joy only grew with the arrival of his great-granddaughter, Adelaide Greer. His family was his greatest accomplishment, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

The family will receive friends on March 7, 2026 from 1:00 p.m.- 2:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, 639 North Main Street, Greenville, SC, followed by a private family graveside service.

Mickey will be remembered for his steady presence, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. His legacy lives on in the family he cherished, the business he built, and the community he faithfully served for more than five decades.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Parisview Baptist Church where Mickey was a faithful member and servant or to St. Jude Hospital.
