Grace Marie Tharp (Pack), wife of Ernest Gilbert Tharp, (Deceased), passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at the age of 96. Grace retired from Alcan (Reynolds) Aluminum in Louisville, Ky.
Grace was born to the late Everett Lee and Pearl Beatrice Pack in Louisville, Ky on October 2, 1928.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Ernest Gilbert Tharp and her siblings, Raymond Pack, Benjamin Pack, Son-in-Law, Roy M Swansegar, Grandchildren, Scott Swansegar, Stephanie and Michael Tharp.
Grace was a member of South Louisville Christian Church. As hobbies, Grace loved to draw and paint.
She is survived by her children, Beverly A. Swansegar of Versailles, Ky, Deborah L. Embry (Jerry) of Eastview, Ky, and Gregory A. Tharp (Karen) of Hodgenville, Ky. along with Grandchildren, Tim Embry (Brenda), Ted Swansegar (Tina), Adam Embry (April) and Tracy Petrie (JimmyJ).
14 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great-great Grandchildren.
