Grace Louella Tuttle, 87, of Wooster, died Thursday, April 11, at Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, in Wooster.
Grace was born December 22, 1936 in Clark, Ohio to Kingdon and Ollie {Escue} Duncan.
She married Charles Tuttle on September 18, 1954. He died January 26, 1995.
She worked for The Parlor and Noletti’s as a waitress for several years. Grace was a member of the Orrville Baptist Church. She was an avid reader, traveling and loved taking care of her grandchildren.
Grace will be deeply missed by her sons Daniel Wilson (Deborah) Tuttle of Smithville, Charles Alan (Ruth) Tuttle of New Philadelphia; daughters Sherry (Jim) Troyer of Wooster, and Melody Krieg (Tim Wilson) of Wooster; grandchildren Cassie, Daniel C., Earl R., Carrie (James), Angel, Heather, Nikki, Michael, and Michelle; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild on the way; brother Ronald (Rita) Duncan of Iowa; sister Susie (Floyd) Proper of Shreve; and by her church family who loved her deeply.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Duncan Eric Tuttle and 10 brothers and sisters.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, 7067 Cleveland Rd. Wooster, Ohio 44691. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Grace-Tuttle) with Pastor Brad Dews officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd. Wooster, Ohio 44691 or Orrville Baptist Church c/o Christian Nurse Scholarship, 206 Bell Ave Orrville, Ohio 44667.
