Ms. Gracie Bryant, 63, heard the master call on the morning of April 1, 2025, she answered in the comfort of her home in Goode, Va.
Gracie was born on February 8, 1962, to the late Ruby J. Bryant, and the late Alfred Hurt. She was also preceded in death by her sister Christy Payne, brothers Albert Bryant, Tony Bryant and Clarence Hunt.
Gracie was employed with Long John Silvers in Bedford, until her health started to decline. She attended Jefferson Forest High School.
Gracie loved to have a good time with her family and friends, and listening to old school music. She loved joking and putting a smile on everyone’s face.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her three devoted sons, Brian Bryant, Timothy Bryant and Dwayne Bryant (Tracie). Five sisters, Letita Hubert, Frances Bryant (Sue), Phyllis Bryant, Gloria Hurt, and Ann Leftwich (Calvin). Two Brothers, William Randy Bryant (Jackie) and Steve Hurt (Gloria). She had seventeen grandchildren whom she adored dearly and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by many cousins, relatives, and friends.
A celebration of Gracie's life will be conducted on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Bellevue Community Center, 4051 Goode Station Rd, Goode, VA 24556 from 3:00 until 6:00pm. The family encourages family and friends to wear Dallas Cowboys attire or Cowboys colors to her service. To send condolences online please visit tharpfuneralhome.com.
