FARMINGTON - Grady Brady, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at his residence in Farmington on March 17, 2025, at the age of 84. He was born on December 9, 1940, in Collinwood, Tennessee, to the late Orville and Rosa (Hollis) Brady.

Grady is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Connie Lee (Thurston) Brady; his children, Michelle Renee Blunt and her husband Brian; his grandson, Mathew Brian Blunt; and his brothers, Pat Brady and Billy Wayne Brady. He is preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Rosa (Hollis) Brady, and several siblings including an infant sister, Doyle Brady, Calvin Brady, Palford Brady, Mabel Francis Brady, Rachel Davis, Juel Carson, Jean Matlock, James Brady, Lois Thompson, Joyce Jones, Becky Blackburn, and Betty Woolsey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends, all of whom were dear to him.

Grady graduated from Parma High School in Parma, Missouri, in 1959. He spent most of his life working as a farmer before transitioning to a millwright position at Chrysler, where he had a rewarding 17-year career before retiring in 2001. His strong work ethic and dedication were clear to everyone who knew him.

Grady loved hunting and fishing, especially when he could share those experiences with his friends and family. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandson, Matthew, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Grady regularly attended services at Crossroads First Church of God, where he connected with others and shared his faith.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 5 – 8 p.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel. A visitation will resume on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. officiated by Pastor Joe Pogue and Pastor Mike Winick. Grady will be laid to rest at Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart, Missouri.
