Pappy leaves behind a legacy of love, and great memories. He had a heart that was "matched by few and surpassed by none".
He is survived by his best friend and wife of 39 years, Kendra Hemmen and his children, Preston Hemmen, Colton Hemmen & his wife Kaylee Hemmen. Granddaughters Kennedi Hemmen & Aubree Hemmen & Grandson Caydon Hemmen.
Sisters Lee Kemter & Suzanne Peterson & Brother Frank Hemmen Sr.

To our Pappy, Dad & best friend, we will miss your handsome smile, funny jokes, infectious laugh, and your way of always finding good in every situation.
Your positive outlook on life, passion for God and family, love for hunting and the outdoors, and the lessons that you taught so many, is what got each and every one of us to where we are today and will continue to guide us through this life without you. We will pass your legacy on to your grandkids, as your work there was just getting started. Now it is up to us to complete, and we won't let you down. We love you so much, until we meet again
