Greg Randall Miller returned home to our Creator on September 29, 2025, at the age of 69. Greg was born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, on June 30, 1956, to his beloved parents, Harry Joseph and Jacqueline (Wickard) Miller.

Greg spent his youth and high school years on baseball fields throughout Carlisle and Central Pennsylvania. As he grew older, he developed an enduring appreciation for classical music and the classical guitar, which he played beautifully throughout the majority of his life.

In 1979, Greg married the love of his life, Pamela (Yiengst) Miller, who preceded him in death (2016). Together, they raised two children, Jennifer Lynn (Brown) and Christopher Bryce, to whom Greg passed down his most practical bits of logic and reasoning: Don’t talk about people behind their backs. Be proud of your work... if you’re not proud, you’re not done. And it’s okay for kids to watch Richard Pryor because he’s the epitome of funny—just don’t tell Mom.

Greg spent his career in the world of electricity and lighting, beginning as a salesman and eventually retiring as a designer. He especially loved the creativity and problem-solving that came with his work at Schaedler Yesco, where he retired in 2024. Greg and Pam also spent several years in the early 2000’s as Milton Hershey House Parents where they made many lasting memories with multitudes of young people.

Greg was always the life of the party—“quick with a joke, or to light up your smoke.” His humor, warmth, and wit could fill any room, and he had a gift for making people smile. It was a special treat when he decided to pick up a microphone and belt out some John Lennon, especially if he was singing to his adoring wife.

He is survived by his children, Jennifer Brown (James Brown) and Christopher Miller (Amanda Stoutzenberger); his grandchildren, Jaelyn, Laila, and Trey Brown; his brothers, Keith Miller (Susan Marie Quinones) and Robert Miller (Sue Ellen Daniels); his aunts and uncles, Gary and Mary Jane Wickard and Frank and Sue Wickard; and many extended family members and friends who will miss him fiercely.

In honor of Greg’s memory, the family encourages you to share a story, a laugh, or a song with someone you love today.
