Pastor Gregory J. Dahl, age 79 of Port Huron, passed away on October 18, 2024, with his family by his side. He was born October 19, 1944 in Detroit to the late Harold and Roberta Dahl.
Greg served honorably in the United States Navy. He attended high school in Detroit and in 1992 he finished his degree in Bible Theology. He retired from Farmer Jack after 35 years in 2003, as a manager.
Greg loved God. He was a minister and member at Church of Christ Hazel Park, Church of Christ Royal Oak and Church of Christ Port Huron. He enjoyed the outdoors, golfing, sports, sitting by the water and gardening. Greg had many interests; art, jewelry, shoes, ties, sailboats, visiting antique shops and reading vampire books.
Greg was blessed with a large family and was a dedicated father and grandfather.
He is survived by his children; Gregory (Michele), Brenda (JB), Diana, Angela (Dustin) and honorary daughter, Lorie (Donald), nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, sister, Gail Dahl, along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sisters; Sharon Lackie and Diane (Cobra) Bran.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at 5:00pm in the Jowett Funeral Home - 1634 Lapeer Ave., Port Huron. David Olges will officiate. Burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
The visiting hours will be Sunday - 1:00pm until time of service at 5:00pm.
Memorial contributions can be made to the wishes of the family.
Jowett Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Dahl Family.
