Gregory G. DeJohn, of Staten Island, (Brooklyn), NY. passed away in Staten Island Hospital, NY surrounded by his loving family at the age of 70. Gregory was a licensed funeral director and the owner of Cobble Hill Chapels, Brooklyn, NY and funeral director for Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, Toms River, NJ.
We can only hope to keep Gregory's memory alive. He is survived by his loving wife Paula (Intelisano) DeJohn; mother Marie (Lewis) DeJohn; daughter Sophia Flagg; sisters Lorraine DeJohn and Claudia (John) Saraceno; sister-in-law Teresa Pizzi (Anthony) granddaughters GiaMarie and Elizabeth. Several nieces Brooke-Lynn Pesola, Raquel Tagliavia, Christine Saraceno, Rosemaur Intelisano-Davis (Kevin), nephew Damian Pesola, great nieces Isisjade Pesola, Gianna Maldonado and Zany Assad and many Good Friends he made through the years.
Visitation will be held Wednesday 2-5 PM & 7-9 PM and Thursday 2-5 PM & 7-9 PM at Cobble Hill Chapels, 171 Court Street, Brooklyn, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, 11:00 AM at St. Agatha's RC Church, 702 48th Street, Brooklyn, NY followed by Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. In Lieu of Flowers Donations to St. Jude's Childrens Reasearch Hospital would be appreciated. www.StJude.Org or St Jude Children Hospital P.O. Box 1999 Memphis TN 38101

My First Memory Of Gregory was meeting him and of course his wife Paula at the graduation of our Son from mortuary science school and after that always being welcomed in their home for Thanksgiving Holidays and being treated as family his smile lit up the room I remember how special he made us feel his warmth and caring way he was always so happy to have us come and enjoy his home we would always have so much fun with him even though time separated us he and his family will always always hold a special place in my heart . I am Blessed to have known him and get to have the memories that will always be cherished . He really was one of Kind My deepest condolences
