(1956-2021)
Gregory J. Farley, Sr., of Upper Darby, passed away on February 19th, 2021 at home. Born in Chester, PA, he was the son of the late George Farley, Sr. and Frances Farley (Derr).
Greg was the proud owner of Greg Farley Painting and Plastering for over 30 years where he worked alongside his sons until his retirement in 2019.
He was a member of Llanerch Hills Chapel and a strong supporter of our military veterans. Greg enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, hiking, but most importantly he loved being a PePop to his six grandchildren. He will be most remembered for his great story telling, his willingness to always help, and for his love of God in his faith.
Greg was predeceased by his son, Robert (Baby Bobby) Farley. He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy (Pixie) Farley; His children Kimberly Reardon (Dennis), Suzanne Carvin (Garry, Sr.), Gregory Farley, Jr., Scott Farley, and Rebecca Farley; His grandchildren Dennis (D.J.) and Chase Reardon, Garry Jr., Stella and Scarlett Carvin, and Stephen Will, Jr. Greg was also a devoted brother, uncle, and friend.
The Farley Family will have a public greeting on Friday, February 26th, 2021 at The Donohue Funeral Home located at 8401 West Chester Pike in Upper Darby, PA from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm. Mask are to be worn when greeting the family and social distancing is to be observed.
In lieu of flowers, contributions and/or donations can be made to Llanerch Hills Chapel at 1216 Myrtlewood Avenue, Havertown, PA 19083.
