Mr. Gregory Keith Hightower, 66 of Peoria, IL, departed this life at 4:44 pm on March 5, 2025, at his home.
Gregory was born on February 1, 1959 in Peoria, IL, to the union of Willie, Sr. and Arlene (Larry) Hightower.
Gregory attended Woodruff High School and was 1977 Manual High School graduate. He was a member of the softball and basketball teams. Gregory was family oriented and loved spending time with his family. He showed up to events for his nieces and nephews. Gregory was very supportive of his family. He was a hard worker and was very dependable.
Gregory leaves to cherish his most precious memory, four brothers, Roger Hightower, Larry Hightower, Darryl (Udonda) Hightower and Eric Hightower all of Peoria, IL; two sisters, Rajean Hightower of Peoria, IL and Ericka Hightower (Michael) Prince of Dallas, TX; his stepmother, Anita Hightower of Peoria and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, one sister, Alesia Hightower and one brother, Willie Hightower, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at New Cornerstone M.B. Church with a visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Rev. Dr. Mark McConnell is the host pastor and Pastor Marvin Hightower will officiate. Gregory will be laid to rest at Swan Lake Memory Gardens.

Sending condolences to you Roger and your entire family. I was so shocked to hear this very sad news. My very fond memory will be his sweet smile and he wanted to have black coffee with five sugars.
