Michael R Eddy Sr., 63, of Peoria Illinois, died on September 2, 2025 at OSF Saint Francis in Peoria. Born on April 4, 1962 in Peoria to the late Homer and Marian (Krahenbuhl) Eddy, Mike graduated from Princeville High School in 1980 and joined the Navy to serve his country in 1984. After his return, Mike spent his years driving a truck for a living, owning and operating K & M Outlaw Trucking. He eventually carried many loads across the country for various carriers.
Mike was a best friend to some and the one you always called when you needed someone in your corner. No matter what, he always had your back. His wisdom, kindness, and strength will be missed most of all. Let’s not forget his stubbornness, it was at times what he was known for. Sometimes that just meant there was one-way things were gonna be handled, Mike’s way. He loved his family and loved them hard with all he had. The memories and the love he gave will keep us pushing forward.
Mike enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids. he had a love for entertainment, planning trips, going to drag races, and anything Harley Davidson related. He had a lifelong passion for martial arts and attained a level of fourth-degree black belt. He was a long time Phil Koeppel, Student, and a member of the United States karate - Do Kai Association.
Mike is survived by his daughter Kris (Dave) Alig and their children Blake & Logan. Daughter Brooke (Kevin) Geiler and their children Shawn, Savanna, Logan, Marilyn, & Vivian; and his son Mike Eddy Jr. He was also preceded in death by his siblings Jay , Sally and Homer who shared his love of karate. He does have one living brother Tom.
In the end, Mike was doing what he loved riding with his two favorite guys Mike and Blake. He went out and Mike style on his last ride.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at the Spring Bay American Legion on September 27 from 2 to 7 PM. Food will be provided. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family. cards can be sent from and condolences left at illinicremation.com.
