On October 17, 2025, Gregory V. Hoffler passed away at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA, at the age of 67. Gregory was one of six children born to the late Joseph Jackson Hoffler, Sr., and Ida Lee Hoffler and was preceded in death by his sister, Rise' Hoffler. He graduated from Manor High School in 1976 and went on to study at Norfolk State University.

Born to protect and provide, Gregory spent his life putting family first and serving where he could. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in March 1981, where he dedicated 20 honorable years. After retiring from service as a Tech Sergeant in March 2001, he went on to work in the IT field as a systems administrator for several companies, the last of which was NetOps Solutions Inc. He married Sharon Bulluck in December 1981, and together they built a foundation of love that sustained them for 43 years and grew to a family of four with two daughters, Shawnequa and Krista.

From a young age, Gregory loved cars and anything that went fast. He loved driving around exploring new cities with his wife and daughters, riding his motorcycles, tinkering with his vehicles, and avidly following NASCAR.

Gregory leaves to cherish loving memories his wife, Sharon Hoffler, daughters Shawnequa Hoffler and Krista Hoffler; sister Susan Hoffler; brothers Joseph Hoffler, Jr., Vernon Hoffler (Elizabeth), and Gerald Hoffler; six nieces, three nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
