Date of Birth: June 16, 1952
Gregory Richard Onnen, of Lewiston, passed away peacefully in the afternoon of May 23, 2025. He was the son of Donald and Amy Onnen (nee Eddy), brother to Norm and Donna.
He was born in Streator Illinois on June 16, 1952. He travelled the US and lived in Minnesota and Washington before settling in Maine, where he lived in the towns of Porter, Phillips and finally in Lewiston. He took pride in his work as a Physical Therapy Assistant, and truly cared for his patients.
He is survived by his brother, Norm Onnen, his former wife, Shelley Griffith, and their sons Isaac and Forest as well as his granddaughter Lucy. He will be truly missed by his friends and family, especially when the day is perfect for kayaking.
There will be a celebration of life at the First Universalist Church of Auburn on Monday, May 26 at 11am.
