Gregory Allan Rabb

Gregory Allan Rabb, 61, of Bloomfield, CT, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025. Born on July 23, 1964, in Hartford, CT, Gregory was the beloved son of the late Earline Rabb and the late Victor Lowe.
In 1968, Gregory moved to Enfield, CT, where he attended and graduated from Enrico Fermi High School. From a young age, Gregory showed natural talent in his crafts and carried that gift throughout his life. He went on to become a bounty hunter for a bail bond company until 1994. After that he built a dedicated career as an electrician.
Gregory had a deep love for basketball and enjoyed both playing and coaching in his hometown summer league, where his passion for the game brought people together. He was also known for his love of cooking, especially his famous mac and cheese, a dish that became a cherished favorite among family and friends.
He is survived by his children: Brianna Rabb, Kamara Garcia, Gregory A. Rabb Jr., and Marcus Rabb. He also leaves behind his siblings: Freddy Rabb (Claudette), Anthony Rawlins (Liza), Victor Lowe, and his sister, Ginelle Lowe.
Gregory was also blessed with the love of extended family, including his aunts, Veronica Rabb and Hattie Rabb, and his close cousins who grew up alongside him in the same household: Patricia Rabb (Silva), Shelia Rabb (Spicer), Norris Rabb, and Michael Rabb. Their bond remained strong and deeply meaningful throughout his life.
Those who knew Gregory will remember him as a man of remarkable skill, quiet strength, and a heart that touched many. His legacy lives on in the lives of those who loved him, in the memories shared, and in the laughter and love he brought into every room.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all who have shown compassion and kindness during this time. Whether it was a visit, a card, or a silent prayer, your sympathy and support for Gregory are deeply appreciated. Family and friends will gather to honor his life, remember his spirit, and celebrate the love he leaves behind.
Gregory's life will be celebrated on October 15, 2025, at 12:00 pm with visitation prior to, from 11-12 at Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. He will be laid to rest at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery.
