Gregory Rapisarda Obituary
Family and friends may call at the family- owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, 1050 York Road (Beltway exit 26) on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM and Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A vigil service, with time to share stories, will be held on Friday at 7:00 PM. Fr. Rapisarda will lie in State at St. Margaret Church 141 N. Hickory Ave, Bel Air, MD 21014 on Saturday from 10 to 11 AM and Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment Bel Air Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution to Archdiocese of Baltimore, Office of Vocations, 320 Cathedral Street, Baltimore, MD 21201

What a great guy!
I first met him in 1967 when we were both law clerks to two wonderful judges on the Supreme Bench (now the Baltimore City Circuit Court)-he with Anselm Sodaro and me with William J O'Donnell.
After passing the bar we were both associates at Dickerson, Nice, Sokol, and Horn. Later Greg went to Harford County and I went to work as the Federal Public Defender for Maryland but we kept in touch through the years, even spending some New Year's Eves together and at the Annual St. Thomas More Society's Mass and dinner
He was always strong in his faith but never foisted his views on others. A real mensch
I hope that knowing the wide respect and affection that so many had for Father Greg will be some consolation to those mourning him

I enjoyed serving Mass with Father Greg. He was always very pleasant. My wife and I visited the patients with him at Bay View and he was sent to our parish from my cousin´s parish. I will miss him and the friendship we had.
