Gregory Rogers, 77, of Kingston, NY, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024, at HealthAlliance Hospital in Kingston, NY. Greg was born on September 4, 1946, in Staten Island, NY, son of the late Paul Rogers, Sr. and Jane (Heuer) Rogers.
He worked for the US Post Office in both Staten Island and Kingston. Greg loved baseball, especially the Brooklyn Dodgers. He also enjoyed listening to music, watching the Green Bay Packers, and was an avid Monopoly player.
He is survived by his siblings, Janice Andrews and her husband David of Falmouth, ME, Chris Rogers of Kingston, and John Rogers of Falmouth, ME, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Paul Rogers, Jr. The family would like to thank the staff at the Palmer House for their love and support of Greg for the past 15 years.
Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Thursday July 18, 2024 from 5pm to 7pm. The funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Novitiate, 1275 Hearts Content Road, Round Top, NY, 12473 on Friday July 19, 2024 at 11:30am. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Palmer House. Checks should be made out to ARC Mid-Hudson Palmer Center ICF, 1113 Flatbush Rd., House #1, Kingston, NY 12401, Attn: Chris Bradley.
