Gregory Tyson Obituary
The family will hold a private memorial service.
Greg was born on May 20, 1958 in Greenville, NC to William H. Tyson and Christine Everette Tyson. He was employed by Proctor and Gamble Inc and Trimason Inc. for several years and later retired from Pitt County Schools in 2020. Greg was known for his big heart and desire to help others, but his greatest accomplishment was the ability to make people laugh. He could be viewed as a "jack of all trades" and enjoyed watching movies and fishing with his family.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, William and Christine Tyson, and his brother, Steve Tyson.
Greg is survived by his sister, Darlene Taylor and husband David; his niece and loving caretaker, Kristen Tyson; as well as his nephews, great nieces and nephews.
