El dia 24 de octubre del 2023 fue llamada a la presencia de Dios Nuestro Señor nuestra querida esposa, madre, abuela, hermana y amiga, Griselda Cantu Sanchez. Ella nacio el 29 de septiembre de 1956 en la ciudad de Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, hija de Jose Maria Cantu Elizondo y Alicia Gomez de Cantu. Una persona alegre, llena de vida y amor por sus seres queridos, sera recordada para siempre por aquellos quien la aman.
Le preceden en muerte sus padres; hermana: Elida Cantu Gomez; hermanos: Juan Antonio Cantu Gomez, Jose Maria Cantu Gomez, Leticia Cantu Gomez.
Le sobreviven su esposo: Jose Luis Sanchez; hijos: Jose Luis Sanchez Cantu (Anel Talamantes), Carlos Alberto Sanchez Cantu (Erika Herrera), Audry Gissel Sanchez Cantu (Felipe Marquez); nietos: Jose Luis Sanchez, Anel Camila Sanchez, Carlos Sanchez (Anissa Castañeda), Enrique Guajardo y Dariela Gissel Guajardo; bisnietos: Christian Carlos Sanchez, Caleb Carlos Sanchez; hermanos: Maria Esther Cantu, Rodolfo Cantu, Dora Alicia Cantu, Maria de los Angeles Cantu, al igual que un gran numero de sobrinos, demas familiares y amigos.
La familia recibira el pesame el dia jueves 26 de octubre del 2023 de las 5 a las 9 de la noche en la Funeraria Hillside, donde se ofrecera un Rosario por su eterno descanso a las 7 de la tarde.
El cortejo partira de la funeraria a las 8:45 de la mañana el dia viernes 27 de octubre del 2023 hacia la Parroquia de San Juan Neumann para una Misa de Cuerpo Presente a las 9 de la mañana.
Se despide en el Cementerio Catolico.
