"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate." Proverbs 31:25-31
Into the loving arms of our heavenly father, did so enter in peace, our beloved matriarch, Olga Flores Davila, at the age of 88, having been faithfully surrounded by her beloved family by her side. Olga was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, on December 24, 1936, the daughter of the late Jesus Flores and Consuelo Garcia de Flores.
She will be forever remembered and cherished by her beloved family of whom she was pleased and thankful for who they have become. Her memory will live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew her. Olga was a woman of great faith even amongst the toughest trials. With her passing, we close her life story.
Preceded in death by her beloved parents, Jesus Flores and Consuelo Garcia Flores; son: Juan Angel Davila; siblings: Moises (Elpidia) Lipchak, Jesus (Josefina) Flores, Alfredo (Socorro) Flores, Salvador (Genoveva) Flores.
Left behind to cherish her memory and carry on her legacy is her adored husband, Sergio Omar Davila, whom she married on May 3, 1959 and was blessed with 66 years of faithful and loving marriage. Further surviving her are her children: Sergio Omar (Sandra) Davila, Olga Consuelo (Hector) Rosas, Jesus A. (Elsa) Davila, Arturo (Fabiola) Davila; her daughter in law: Adriana Cobos Davila; 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, as well as a great number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
