Guadalupe Ahumada was embraced by a peaceful departure from this world on December 22, 2024, in West Branch, Michigan. Born on June 21, 1971, in Fremont, Ohio, Guadalupe led a life characterized by love, kindness, and an unwavering faith.
Guadalupe's journey was one filled with joy and laughter, shared alongside his beloved wife, Margaret Ahumada. Their paths crossed in Sturgis, Michigan, and their hearts became entwined, leading them to unite in marriage on the memorable date of November 11, 2011. They built a loving home in Garrett, Indiana, where they thrived together for 12 years before relocating to Prescott, Michigan, cherishing every moment of their last year together.
The legacy of Guadalupe's warm-hearted spirit is carried on by his proud children: Daniel Joseph (Zarabeth), Julia Veronica (Luke Hochstetler), Aleksander Wayne, Marko Terrain, and Christian Isaac. His role as a grandfather was adorned with the laughter of his grandchildren: Huntson, Emillia, Winona, and Ezekiel. Guadalupe also leaves behind his mother, Maria Ruiz, siblings David (Dawn) Ahumada, Veronica, and Juanita Ahumada.
Guadalupe's life was one of dedication and service, exemplified by his baptism as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on December 5, 2009. His days were often spent in nature, fishing, hiking, and camping, and at home, he was known as a jokester who loved to cook. Guadalupe's conversations were seasoned with talk of his faith and his hopeful anticipation of living in a paradise on earth.
Preceded in death by his father, Wallace and his first wife, Judith Marie, Guadalupe's memory will remain a blessing to all who knew him. His faith-filled soul has surely found its haven in the memories he has left and the conviction he shared. Guadalupe will be profoundly missed, yet his spirit will dwell in the hearts of his family, congregation, and friends forever.
Services will be held January 4, 2025, at 3:00pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1224 W State Rd. West Branch, MI 48631, with Elder Roman DeColumna presiding. Zoom accommodations have been made, please reach out to the family for that information. The family would like to welcome all to the dinner following the service.
