It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Guadalupe Grijalva beloved wife, mother and grandmother in San Antonio, TX who went to be with the Lord on October 30, 2023 at the age of 67.

Lupe was born and raised in San Antonio. She attended Fox Tech High School and graduated from San Antonio Community College with a degree in Business. She retired from University Hospital as a Workers Compensation Coordinator.

Lupe is survived by her husband Art, son Mario, daughter Marian and her husband Doug, grandchildren Joshua, Mila and Nicolas, and sister Paula Castillo and her husband Frank. She also leaves many nieces and nephews, countless friends, and her beloved dog Chewy.

Lupe was predeceased by her mother Guadalupe Rios, father Marcos Gomez, and sister Evelia Ruiz.

Lupe enjoyed spending time with her friends, meeting with her "Lady Bug" group, the Guadalupanas, and her friends at Church.

Funeral services are entrusted by Funeral Caring. Mass and Rosary will be held at St. Helena's Church located at 14714 Edgemont Street, San Antonio, Texas 78247 on Friday November 10, 2023 at 9:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Lupe's name to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Heart Association.
