Lupe Jaramillo, age 83, of Cameron, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 26, 2024. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, May, 1, 2024 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 6-8:00 pm. Burial will be at the Hernandez Cemetery.
Lupe was born in Milam County, Texas to Theodore and Martha Balboa on September 23, 1940. She was married to her love, Ramon Jaramillo, Jr. on May of 1956. Lupe was a homemaker who had a hand in raising many children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren as her own.
Lupe was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Jaramillo, Jr., her parents Theodore and Martha Balboa, brother, Raymond Balboa, her sister Janie Cazares, her sister Carolyn Rodriguez, her son Felix Jaramillo, her daughter Mary Ann Lara, her granddaughter, Mary Rivera, granddaughter, Princilla Lara, grandson Paul Lara, granddaughter Rosalinda Ramirez, her great grandson, Nick Jaramillo.
She is survived by her son Raymond Jaramillo, Jr. of Cameron, her son Ray Jaramillo of Cameron, her daughter, Hope Ramirez and husband Robert Ramirez of Cameron, her grandson, Raymond Lara of Cameron, her grandson Ray Jaramillo of Arlington, her grandson Nicholas Jaramillo of Cameron, her grandson Julian Jaramillo of Cameron, her grandson Bryan Goodwin of Cameron, her grandson Roberto Ramirez of Cameron and granddaughter Alicia Ramirez of Cameron. She is also survived by 12 great granddaughters and 5 great grandsons, 1 great great granddaughter, 1great great grandson. She is survived by her sister Rosemary Santellano of Pettibone, her brother, Damon Balboa of Cameron, her brother Domingo Balboa of Cameron, her brother Theodore Balboa Jr, of Cameron and her brother Ricky Balboa of Cameron.
Lupe was a loving and caring motherly figure who also treated her many nieces and nephews and other family members as if they were her own.
