Ms. Lancaster was born July 5, 1946 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Raymond Russell and Virginia Anne (Brown) Kilburn. She received her undergraduate degree in social work from Idaho State University and her Master's from Walla Walla University in Washington State. She worked as a clinical social worker for the Department of Veteran Affairs helping homeless veterans with drug and alcohol addiction, which was her passion. She was preceded in death by 5 siblings, Doyle Kilburn, Nina Hill, Pauline Medeci, Dale Kilburn and Naomi Kilburn. She is survived by:

Her sons Kevin Lancaster & wife Shawn of Roanoke, VA
Steven Ray Calfy of Sacramento, CA
Tyler Lancaster & wife Stephanie of Idaho Falls, Idaho
Brother Charles Kilburn of Kentucky
Sister Carolyn Parks of Shawnee, OK
9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren
