Pewee was born on March 25, 1951, in San Benito, Texas to Jesus and Maria Roa. He was a twin brother and one of 16 children.
He was a lifelong resident of San Benito. Pewee proudly worked on carpentry. He enjoyed spending time outdoors.
Pewee married Juanita Roa on March 17, 1977 and remained his loving wife until his last breath. He was a caring and loving father to +Guadalupe Roa Jr, Jaime (Becky) Roa, Lupita (Jesse) Villafranco, Sammy (Perla) Roa. Grandchildren Quincy Ochoa, Jaime Roa Jr, Ahlizandra, Amadeo, Noreli Roa, Eric Torres Jr, Nicholas, Nathan, Fabian Villafranco, Sammy Roa Jr and Julissa Roa.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 4, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with burial to follow at San Benito City Cemetery in San Benito, Texas.
