Kernersville – Gurney "Pete" Eugene Snow, 82, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 29, 2023. He was born on June 11, 1941, in Guilford County to the late Gurney Julius and Hazel Kiger Snow. Pete was a faithful member of Valley View Baptist Church for many years. He loved to spend his time gardening, as well as taking care of his cats. Pete loved his family dearly and was a great father.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Pleasant Snow, and a sister Mary Jane Hedrick.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Sharon Lynn Snow; a nephew, Jeff Hedrick (Lori); a niece, Lisa Rose; one brother, Robert Wayne Snow (Hilda); and his special cat, Daisy.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. A visitation will be held from 1:00-1:45 PM at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel prior to the graveside.
