Guy Thacker Obituary
Guy Newton “Newt” Thacker, III, 67, of Bedford, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at his residence. He was born in Bedford on December 12, 1956, to the late Guy Newton Thacker, Jr. and Virginia Krantz Thacker.
He is survived by his siblings, Sara Shackelford and husband, Ron and Jim Thacker and wife, Jeanne; step-sisters, Gay Agee and Karen Tuttle and husband, Jack and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
An informal gathering to celebrate Newt’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m., February 24th at Bethlehem United Methodist Church. The address is 13586 S Old Moneta Rd., Moneta, VA.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, is assisting the family.
