Gwendolyn Saunders, 82, formerly of West Mifflin, passed away on the morning of Tuesday, October 20, 2020. Survived by her daughter, Robyn Saunders (Alan O'Brien), and preceded by her husband Elmer "Buck" Saunders (2018), Gwen was a long-time resident of Walkerton, IN, where she and Buck ran an award winning dairy farm for over 35 years. In addition to farming, Gwen worked at Kodak and Wells Aluminum. She was intelligent, hard-working, and always on the go. She had many hidden talents and stories. Gwen was voted Bride of the Season in 1956. She was a tap dancer, a bowler, and easily the best mechanic around.

Gwen loved hunting, fishing, Judge Judy, babies and glazed donuts. She was strong, independent and always told it like it was. She had a heart of gold and opened her home to anyone in need without hesitation - welcoming all family, friends and strangers with a warm greeting and a hot pot of coffee.

Gwen was preceded by her mother Jennie Stetson and father Edward Bolger, siblings Milton Boldger, Ellen Morgan, Jennie Lis, and Yvonne Stetson and Gary Stetson. She is survived by her brother Ronald Stetson and her sister Janet Philips, sisters-in-law Mitz Bolger and Elsie Saunders, along with many nephews and nieces.

Viewing and a brief eulogy will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 10am-12 pm. in William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Inc., 828 Richford Street, Duquesne, PA 15110; internment in McKeesport-Versailles Cemetery.

No need to dress up as Gwen would want you to be comfortable. As many of you know, she was typically seen in a pocket t-shirt and jeans.
