Han Fa, age 94, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023. She was a native of China and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Han Fa was an exceptional woman who spent her life caring for her family. She loved cooking meals and tending to all her children and grandchildren. Han Fa was happiest with a house full of kids and always made sure everyone had what they needed, including a full belly. She adored her husband and children, but her grandchildren were the light of her life. Han Fa left a great impact on her family and will be forever missed.
She is survived by her children, Angela Wong (Kit), Kenny Kwan (Donelle), Frank Kwan (Ivy); grandchildren, Randy Dennis Wong (Amber), Edward Wong (Chelsea), Ronnie Wong (Melina), Patrick Kit Wong, Kaylee Kwan Muton (John Paul), Devin Kwan (Emma), Morgan Kwan; and great-grandchildren, Broderick Wong, Logan Wong, Liam Wong, Graysen, Daniel, and Elle Elise.
Han Fa is preceded in death by her husband, William Hem Quan; one sister; and three brothers.
Pallbearers will be Randy Wong, Eddie Wong, Ronnie Wong, Patrick Wong, Broderick Wong, and Morgan Kwan with honorary being Kenny Kwan, Frank Kwan, Logan Wong, and Devin Kwan.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home at 7738 Florida Blvd. Denham Springs, LA 70726 on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Resthaven Garden of Memories.
