Hanabusa "Han" Tatsui, age 98, of Skokie, IL, died Friday, May 31, 2024, at his residence.
Devoted son of the late Emon and Asami, née Hosoda, Tatsui, Han was born March 30, 1926, in Los Angeles, CA.
Beloved husband of the late Grace, née Maeda; loving father of Glenn (Amy, née Matsuda) Tatsui, Jean (Davis) Sasaki, and Tod Tatsui (David Strzepek); cherished grandfather of Ryan Sasaki and Joshua, Jessica, and Evan Tatsui; dear brother of Hitomi (Tooru) Kajiwara and the late Tadashi Tatsui.
Visitation, Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 11:30 a.m. until time of Service, 1 p.m., at Lakeside Church of Chicago, 3939 W. Howard St., Skokie, IL, 60076. (A reception will follow the service.)

I just heard that your dad died last year. I am so sorry for your loss. I'll always remember him smiling and running the kids games at the picnic.
