Hanh C. Smyth, age 74, passed away on January 15, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Linh was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all that knew her.
Linh will be remembered for her vibrant spirit and her love of family. Born in Can tho, Vietnam, Linh loved to share her culture by making authentic Vietnamese food. When she wasn’t spending time with her family, she enjoyed gambling at the casinos, showing her spirit and quiet love of adventure.
Linh is survived by her beloved husband, Charles “Chuck” Smyth with whom she was married for 28 years; Daughter, Sandy Farrar; Grandchildren, Leannza Farrar, Francesca Nguyen, Derrick Nguyen, Randy Nguyen; and great-grandchildren, Aamir Price and Gianna Alston. Linh was the daughter of the late Sen Duong and Nu Le and was also predeceased by her daughter, Debbie Farrar.
Relatives and friends are invited to Hanh’s viewing on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA followed by her funeral service at 2:30 PM. Interment private.
