Henry “Hank” Beaudet, 82, a former resident of Manchester, passed away on March 6, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Manchester on January 20, 1941, to the late Wilfrid and Lena (Raymond) Beaudet, Hank graduated from Bedford High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army Corps.

Hank was a dedicated member of the Manchester Fire Department for 21 years and a successful entrepreneur, owning and operating several businesses in the Manchester area.

Following his retirement, Hank moved to Hollywood, Florida, with his loving husband and partner of sixty years, Donald Demers, where he enjoyed spending time with those he loved most. Hank had a passion for sailboats, playing cards, and creating unforgettable memories with family and friends.

Hank was predeceased by his sister, Lena Beaudet, in 2006, and his husband, Donald Demers, in 2021. He is survived by his two sisters, Theresa Hadley and her husband, George, of Merrimack, and Arlene MacElman of Florida, as well as his two brothers, Edward Beaudet of Bedford, and George Beaudet of Manchester. Hank also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a circle of close friends who will dearly miss him.

SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A cemetery committal service will be held at the mausoleum in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester, on Wednesday, March 15th, at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Manchester Firefighters Relief Association at 100 Merrimack St., Manchester, NH 03101.
