It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Hank Incognito, a beloved son, brother, father, husband, uncle, and community leader who left us on July 17, 2024, at the age of 48. Surrounded by his loving family in his final moments, he was a man of immense honor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. His passion for family and his unwavering spirit will forever be remembered.
Hank graduated from Northeastern University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. During his college years, he was an active member and president of the Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) fraternity, where he formed life, long friendships and honed his leadership skills. His passion for pharmacy led him to become the owner and pharmacist in charge at the Avenel Pharmacy and Avenel, New Jersey, where he served the community with dedication and care.
A proud son of Giuseppina and Giuseppe Incognito, who emigrated from Sicily, Italy in 1971, Hank held his Italian heritage close to his heart. His family and culture were integral to his identity, and he often shared the rich heritage with those around him. As an active member of Saint Gabriel's Church in Morganville, New Jersey, Hank contributed to his community by providing catechism lessons to children and youth, instilling in them, the values he held, dear.
Hanks community involvement extended beyond his professional and religious commitments. He was an honorary member of the Avenel Fire Department, where his contributions and support were greatly valued. His entrepreneurial spirit let him to start several small businesses, showcasing his energy and innovative approach to life.
Hank was a devoted husband to Angela Incognito and loving father to his four daughters, Isabella, Giada, Alessia, and Bianca Incognito. His family was his pride and joy, and he cherished spending summer weekends with them in Seaside, New Jersey. He also leaves behind two brothers, Tom and Frank, his sisters-in-law, Anna, and Luigina Incognito, and his four nieces, Sabrina, Lillianna, Valentina, and Elliana Incognito.
In his leisure time, Hank enjoyed participating in clay target shooting and race car events, passions that reflected his zest for life and determination. His dynamic presence and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The Incognito family invites all who knew Hank to join them in honoring his life. On July 24, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Waitt Funeral Home, located at 501 Highway 79, Morganville, will host a viewing.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Gabriel's Church located at 100 North Main Street, Marlboro, NJ 07746 on July 25, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Gabriel's Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleums, Marlboro.
