Hank Aaron Stagner, age 56, of LaMoille, Iowa passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, December 30, 2023.
Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and no formal services will be scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family. For additional information or to send a condolence to the family, please visit www.mitchellfh.com or call 641-844-1234.
Hank Stagner was born October 11, 1967, in St. Joseph, Missouri to parents Charles Andrew Stagner and Mary (Distafino) Harding. He attended high school in Faucett, Missouri and later joined the work force after graduation. Hank worked for JBS Swift and Company for over 20 years. He was a production line supervisor both at the Marshalltown and St. Joseph plants. "Spanky" as some may know him as, was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, walking barefooted outside, gardening, canning vegetables, spending time at Sand Lake but most importantly he loved to spend time with his granddaughter Kennedi and his beloved wife.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years Sarah Wallen, his children; Keely Stagner, Amber Wallen, and Jake Wallen, his granddaughter Kennedi Rain Wallen, and his siblings; Connie Nutt-Harris of Marshalltown, IA, Kenna Harding of St. Joseph, MO, Charles Stagner Jr. of Faucett, MO, Jill Frazier of Kansas City, MO, and April Buarsi of Kansas City, MO.
Hank is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mary, his two siblings: Tina Ashford and David Stagner, and his beloved American Bulldog, Zoey.
