Harmon was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. He attended and graduated from St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Elementary School and graduated from Moss Point High School in 1974.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harmon and Naomi Thompson; his sister, Flora Jones; his nephews, George Thompson, Jr., and Akili Harper.
He is survived by six brothers, Rayford Thompson, Bradford (Beverly) Thompson, George (Gwen) Thompson, Sr., Reginald Thompson, Sebastin Thompson and Kevin Thompson; four sisters, Quintallion (Danny) Thompson, Legwanna Thompson, Vondarian Thompson, and Ruth Thompson, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
