Harold Baker Obituary
He was born on June 10, 1942 in Cazenovia, NY to the late Robert Baker and Margaret Elizabeth (Merson) Baker. In addition to his parents, Harold was also preceded in death by a sister, Margaret.
Harold was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Rolla. He was a member of the choir and served as a Franciscan. He enjoyed several hobbies which included listening to music, watching movies, and collecting coins and stamps.
Harold will be greatly missed by his surviving family which includes: one sister, Patricia Baker Batsel of Colorado; nieces; nephews; cousins; and other relatives and friends.
A funeral mass for Harold A. Baker will be conducted at 10 am on Friday, September 26, 2025 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Memorial contributions in Harold's memory are suggested to St. Patrick Catholic Church or the Pregnancy Resource Center of Rolla.

I met Harold Baker at the Rolla Presbyterian Manor where I was volunteering with the Arts & Crafts activity on Thursdays. Harold was very kind and gentle with a quiet smile and shy sense of humor. He was a joy to be around. I did not know where this gentle nature came from until I attended his funeral on Friday, September 26. Relative to his age, I only knew Harold for "five minutes"! However, the love of Christ shone through his demeanor all through the short time I knew him. I will always remember him and look forward to seeing him in heaven.
