Harold Bermender Obituary
Harold William "Bill" Bermender III, 68, of Hamden, passed away peacefully at home on March 3, 2026. Bill was the beloved husband of 36 years to Priscilla Rivera; and loving father of Will Bermender. Bill was born on June 19, 1957, in Providence, Rhode Island. He was the son of the late Harold W. Bermender Jr. and Elizabeth Mathinos Bermender. He was the brother of Lee Bermender and Jillian Waugh, both of Newport, Rhode Island. After Bill graduated from Hamden High School in 1975, he held a number of professions before settling in telecommunications work. His passions included attending live music, art museums, and experiencing festivals with a community of friends. His compassion, friendship and sense of humor will be missed by all. Friends may call Wednesday, March 11, 2026, between 9:00am until 1:00pm, with a Memorial Service at noon, at Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Avenue, Hamden. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, 3102 Whitney Avenue, Hamden. Memorial donations may be made in Bill's name to The American Legion, Post 88, 3005 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden, CT 06518.
