Harold Buss

Our beloved father, Harold Elmer "Jr." Buss, born on March 25, 1931, in Midvale, Ohio, bid us farewell on March 18, 2024. Harold, a true embodiment of resilience, love, and humor, will be profoundly missed yet fondly remembered for his jovial nature and hearty laughter that filled every room he entered. His witty jokes, often accompanied by a twinkle in his eyes, could light up the gloomiest of days, offering a source of comfort and joy. His generosity knew no bounds, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Harold lived his life with a deep-seated love for his family, and his devotion to them was evident in everything he did. He was blessed with a large and loving family, including his four children, two stepdaughters, eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. His dedication to work as a Progressive Checker and Cone Grinder at Timken Roller Bearing showcased his commitment and perseverance, and he instilled these values in us. Harold's love for the thrill of the game was evident in his fondness for slot machines. He spent over forty (40) faithful years as a member of the Canton Baptist Temple, reflecting his deep Christian faith. He was a loving soul, bringing joy and love to many lives, and his memory will continue to warm our hearts.
As reflected in Matthew 5:4, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted," we take solace knowing that Harold is now at peace, reunited with his parents, Harold Sr. and Thelma, and his beloved wives, Imo and Virginia. His life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and faith, and he leaves behind a legacy of strength and tenderness that will continue to inspire us.
