Lima, OH Harold Roy Cobb, age 82, passed away on September 7, 2025, at 1:20 pm, at the Liberty Retirement Community of Lima. Harold was born on August 4, 1943, in Point Pleasant, WV, to the late Opie and Helen (Hayes) Cobb. On September 3, 1976, he married Donna J. (Myers) Cobb who survives in Lima. In addition to his wife, Harold is survived by his children: Detra (Paul) St. Armand of Chula Vista, CA, Michael "Kevin" (Alisa) Cobb of Houston, TX, Sonny Daniel Cobb of Lima, OH, Tabetha (Michael) Flickinger of Lima, OH and David J. (Jazzlynn) Cobb of Lima, OH, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by sisters: Venetta McKneown, Neoma Cobb and Alice Fay Cobb. Harold was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and also the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam War. When he was young, he had worked as a construction worker and then for the last 25 years, he had worked as a truck driver with Dancer Trucking Company being the most recent, retiring in 2002. He was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church. Harold loved to read and sing, fishing and spending time with his family. There will be a Celebration of Life held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the Open Door Baptist Church with Pastor William Turner officiating. His cremated remains will be laid to rest in the Dayton National Cemetery next year at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Open Door Baptist Church.
