July 8, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Cummings Sr.; mother, Helen
Cummings; brother, Edward L. Cummings; Sister, Harriet Cummings-Carter;
Grandchildren, DeKise and DeKira Cummings.
He leaves to cherish his memories: one son, Dedric L Cummings Sr.; two
daughters, Deletha L Cummings; of Birmingham, AL; Tyese Patterson; of
Charlotte, NC; five grandchildren, DeMikah, Dren'Non , Dray'Lon, Dedric Jr and
Jaelin Brown; one great grandchild, Alaina Brown; three sisters, Bobbie J Engram;
Peggy Lewis, and Vanessa (Bill) Cummings; all of Birmingham, AL; a host of nieces;
nephews, cousins and friends, who dearly loved him.
