Harold Hall Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, Inc - Milesburg (formerly Wetzler) on Dec. 20, 2025.
Harold Les Hall, 81, of Rattlesnake Pike, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, December 18, 2025. Born on April 23, 1944, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Harold G. and Julia (Barton) Hall. On December 20, 1969, Harold married the love of his life, Rita Nelo, at the Milesburg United Methodist Church. Rita survives at home.
Harold was a 1962 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. He was employed as a Tool and Die maker at Cerro Copper and Brass in Bellefonte, where he dedicated 30 years of service before retiring in 1995.
A man of Christian faith, Harold enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He and Rita shared a love of travel and made many memorable trips together, including visits to Italy, Hawaii (twice), Nashville, and Canada. Harold was a proud member of Lodge #268, Free and Accepted Masons of Bellefonte.
In his younger years, Harold was the lead singer and guitarist in a local band. He was known for his outgoing personality and love of socializing. Once you met Harold, you were an instant friend. He truly got along with everyone he met.
In addition to his wife, Rita, Harold is survived by one daughter, Parris Bayesa and her husband, Michael, of Camp Hill; two grandchildren, Cole and Grant; and one sister, Kathy Y. Vargo and her husband, William, of Rattlesnake Pike. He is also survived by two nieces, Buffie Holt and Paula Hornbaker; one great-nephew, Seth; and one great-niece, Drury.
In accordance with Harold's wishes, a graveside service will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Union Township, with Pastor Jeanette Desmond officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, Inc., of Milesburg, PA. An online guestbook may be signed, and condolences shared with the family at www.daughenbaughfuneralhome.com
