Harold Dee Wallis of Sparta, Missouri, passed away January 26, 2026, in Sparta, Missouri at the age of 85. He was born March 12, 1940, in Tupelo, Arkansas, the son of Victor and Mildred White Wallis. He married Sandra Walker on April 20, 1962, in Augusta, Arkansas, and was a truck driver. Harold lived in Sparta since moving from Augusta, Arkansas, in 2022 to be closer to their daughter and grandchildren. He attended the First Baptist Church in Sparta. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and especially buying storage units and estates to re-sell.
Harold is survived by his wife, Sandra Kaye Wallis of Sparta, MO; daughter, Belinda (Randy) Cole of Sparta, MO; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Abel) Stokes of Springfield, MO, Richard (Jessica) Barnes of Rogersville, MO, and Stephanie (John) Barnes of Republic, MO, Andrew Cole of Ozark, MO, and Kelsey Jackson of Cotter, AR; three great-grandchildren, Abigail Barnes, Caleb Barnes, Marissa Barnes; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Mildred Wallis; daughter, Donna Wallis; and seven brothers, Kenneth Wallis, Wavely Wallis, W.N. "Dub" Wallis, Lavonne Wallis, Charley Wallis, Dempsey Wallis, E.T. Wallis.
A Graveside Funeral Service for Harold will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas, with Pastor Duane Smith officiating. Pallbearers will be Darren Loula, David Wallis, John Case, Caleb Barnes, Rick Jones, and Terry Cariker, and Rickey Billingsley will be an honorary pallbearer. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Sparta, Missouri. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services - Mountain Home, Arkansas.
