Norma Palmer Obituary
Leigh's early years were spent in the southern charm of Mobile, where she developed a deep appreciation for the natural world, particularly the joy of watching animals in their habitats. Her love for the simple pleasures of life, like the taste of fresh Alabama shrimp, and the seafood buffet at the casino brought her joy.
Leigh dedicated many years to caring for others as a caretaker at the Alba Club in Mobile. Her kindness and generosity extended beyond her professional role, touching the lives of many who had the privilege to know her.
It was amidst the lively atmosphere of karaoke nights that she met her beloved companion of nearly 30 years, Kim Roger Carper. Together, they shared countless cherished moments, their love and friendship standing as a testament to the joy of a life shared.
She was a sister to Debbie Portella and Chris Palmer. Though preceded in death by her parents, Connie and Norma Palmer, and her sister Pam, the bond she shared with her family remains an indelible part of her legacy.
