Harriette K. Von Dassel

Harriette K. Von Dassel 81, of West Hartford passed away Sunday, December 1st 2024. She was born on September 14, 1943, to the late Herman Carl and Eva Braddock Von Dassel. Harriette, who went by Kathy was a generous and outgoing person. Everyone who walked by her got a "hello" along with a big smile. She wrote beautiful poetry as well as spent many hours of her time on ceramics and painting. Kathy loved animals, especially her dog Marcie. She could not turn away any animal in need. She will be missed by her family and friends, especially her long-time friend, Jo Ann Tine.
Kathy leaves behind her brother Carl Von Dassel and his wife Shirley; her niece Lisa and her husband Nelson Rand; their children Jeremy and Jake Rand; her nephew Carl Von Dassel Jr. and his wife Denise; their children Stefen and his wife Alyssa and Cory Von Dossel.
A Funeral Service will be held 1:00pm Friday, January 3, 2024, at Rose Hill Funeral Home 580 Elm St. Rocky Hill, CT with burial in the Rose Hill Memorial Park to follow.
