Obituary of Harrison Sissel
Harrison Wade Sissel, 20, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 16, 2025.
Harrison was born in Greenville, the youngest child of Michael Wade Sissel and Elizabeth Anne "Beth" Weakley Sissel. He was a graduate of the Hillcrest High School Class of 2022 and a Scout with Scout Troop 159 of Simpsonville. Harrison adored his family and never let an opportunity pass without saying "I love you" to them. He was always willing and wanting to help others. He enjoyed camping, playing video games and collecting Pokemon figures. One of his favorite pastimes was watching movies with family, with his favorites being Nightmare Before Christmas and The Grinch.
Surviving, in addition to his father and mother, are a brother, TSgt Austin Sissel with wife Brittany; a sister, Spencer Sissel; a maternal grandmother, Linda Weakley; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his beloved dogs Major and Millie. He was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Bill and Jolene Sissel; and maternal grandfather, Stephen Weakley.
A Celebration of Harrison's Life will begin at 2 o'clock Saturday, January 25 at Fletcher Funeral Service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.
Harrison was a Shriners Hospital baby. Our family benefited from their services in so many ways and we will forever be thankful.
