Obituary of Steve Bryant
Steven Daniel (Steve) Bryant, 68, husband of Wanda Elizabeth McMahan Bryant for 49 years, went home to be with the lord on February 17, 2025, in his home surrounded by his family.
Mr. Bryant was born in Fountain Inn SC to the late Reverend Billy Ray Bryant and Wilma Irene Lawson Bryant. Steve graduated Hillcrest High School in 1974. Steve worked as a chemical operator for Solvay formally known as Union Carbide, Amoco, BP Amoco and Cytec for over 40 years where he worked until retirement. Steve enjoyed most anything outdoors including golf, fishing, camping and watching his grandchildren in their various activities and just being "Papa". He and Wanda also enjoyed spending time with their many extended family and friends traveling and going on cruises and spending time at the Briar Cliff RV resort.
Steve is survived by his wife, Wanda E Bryant of Greenville; his son, Christopher Bryant (Jessica) and three grandchildren Emma, Logan & Lucas; and his special 4-legged friend Scout; two brothers, Edward Bryant (Annette) of Greenville, John Allen Bryant (Susan) of Travelers Rest; and one sister, Jane Coleman (Allen) of Easley.
A celebration of Steve's life will begin at 11 o'clock Friday at Fletcher Funeral Service in Fountain Inn. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Entombment will follow at Graceland East Memorial Park Mausoleum at 2206 Woodruff Road in Simpsonville. The Family will be in the home.
